Ben Daniels, né le 10 juin 1964 à Nuneaton, dans le Warwickshire, en Angleterre, est un acteur et comédien anglais.

Enfance

Son père a d’abord travaillé chez Rolls Royce avant de tenir une épicerie, sa mère tenait un magasin de vêtements pour enfants. Il a deux sœurs.

Carrière

Il a découvert son attrait pour l’art dramatique lors de cours de théâtre au lycée, il terminé ses études secondaires au Stratford College à Stratford-upon-Avon. Il en profité pour suivre avec assiduité les représentations de la Royal Shakespeare Company.

Ben Daniels a ensuite suivi des cours d’art dramatique au LAMDA (London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art) pendant trois ans.

Depuis le début de sa carrière, en 1987, il a joué dans un très grand nombre de pièces de théâtre et de films, tant pour la télévision, que pour le cinéma. Il a incarné l'un des personnages principaux de la série Cutting it, de 2002 à 2004, et a participé à la mini-série The passion en 2008. Il a ensuite joué deux ans dans Londres, police judiciaire, avant en 2011, d'interpréter Tristan dans le final de la saison 4 de Merlin. On l'a depuis vu dans The paradise, House of cards, Flesh and bones ou encore L'exorciste.
