Mark Richard Hamill, né le 25 Septembre 1951 à Oakland en Californie, est un acteur américain.
Quatrième des sept enfants de Virginia Suzanne (née Johnson) et William Thomas Hamill, il a grandi en Californie, Virginie, à New York et au Japon. Il est diplômé de l'université de Los Angeles City en théâtre.
Il a débuté sa carrière en 1970 grâce à des rôles de guets dans les séries The Bill Cosby Show et Headmaster, mais s'est fait connaître internationalement grâce à son rôle de Luke Skywalker dans les films de la saga Star Wars.
Il est marié depuis le 17 décembre 1978 à Marilou York avec qui il a trois enfants : Nathan Elias (né le 25 juin 1979), Griffin Tobias (né le 4 mars 1983) et Chelsea Elisabeth (née le 27 juillet 1988).
