Maurice Colbourne, né le 24 septembre 1939 et décédé le 4 août 1989, est un acteur et comédien anglais.
Il étudie à la Central School of Speech and Drama à Londres et prend le nom de scène de Maurice Colbourne, son nom de naissance, Roger Middleton, étant déjà porté par un acteur homonyme.
Après des apparitions au cinéma en 1970, il débute une carrière brillante sur les planches en 1972, y enchainant les rôles pendant trois ans. En parallèle, il joue à la télévision et au cinéma : dès 1976, il tient un rôle conséquent dans la série Gangsters, dans laquelle il apparait jusqu’en 1978. Il enchaine en jouant dans la série The Onedin Line.
En 1981, il retrouve un rôle principal dans la série The Day of the Triffids. Il joue ensuite en 1983 dans Johnny Jarvis, et apparait dans la série Doctor Who de 1984 à 1985.
De 1985 à 1989, il joue l’un des personnages principaux de Howards' Way. C’est sur le tournage de la cinquième saison qu’il décède d’une crise cardiaque, à l’âge de 49 ans.
